I worked the men's basketball game and was initially there to help with promotions. With all the students gone for the holiday break this game had a very low attendance so we didn't hold any promotional contests during the game. I helped with game management which was very simple because of the small crowd. I also had the duty of sitting at the scores table during the game and was in charge of playing music during timeouts and during halftime. The Dragons defeated the Celtics 111-83.

Alot of faculty and staff were no longer on campus because of the upcoming holidays, but I had a few more things to finish and that was to get the final Clery Reports collected and turned in. I first went to meet with each of the remaining coaches offices and those that were not there I sent out an email to those coaches. I spent some time with one of the coaches to help fill out the forms for each of the trips that required a report to be submitted. After today I had all but one team's reports ready to be turned in. Unfortunately due to the holiday the department where the forms were to be submitted were out duriing the holiday.
I got to work today and I was told the vending license was approved and the concession stand could be opened during events. That was one of the projects I was assigned and is now complete. The main goal for the rest of the year was to complete my other assignment and there were still a few of the coaches that I still needed to collect Clery Reports from, and also continue to help out with game management and also marketing and promotions during men's and women's basketball games. My time this day was used going around campus to each of those remaining coaches offices to determine the status of their reports and assist and answer questions to get them completed and turned in. A couple of the coaches I was able to help out to have them to turn in. After today I had just three remaing coaches to collect Clery Reports from.
I usually wouldn't work this day but wanted to make sure all the paperwork for the vending license was submitted as soon as possible. I got the copy of the fire inspection and reviewed all of the application to ensure nothing was missing and that there would not be any further issues. I went over to the health department and submitted the final information. I also informed them that the plumbing and grease trap inspection was scheduled for Monday. .
The vending license application had been previously submitted and then denied for a couple of reasons. There was additional equipment that is going to be used in the concession stand that was missing from the equipment list, an update to the facility drawing was required, a copy of the fire inspection was needed, and an ispection of the plumbing and grease trap was also needed. I spent the day contacting the people and meet with them to get those inspection forms and also was able to complete the equipment list. I scheduled the plumbing and grease trap inspection with the county for the following Monday and also cordinated it with the director of facilities to be present to help answer any questions during the inpection. At the end of the day the piece I was still missing was the fire inspection report but was able to make contact with the facilities department to pick up the repor the following day. At this point the vending license was nearly complete and was expected to be approved so that the concession stand could conduct operations during various events.
